North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR), Peace Centre, 7th Mile, Chumoukedima, through its Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully conducted a one-day Resume Writing and Mock Interview Training on 11th April 2025 for the final-year trainees of the MSW 4th Semester and BSW 6th Semester.
The session was led by Mr. Ajay Sethi, Founder and Managing Director of NITI Dimapur, a reputed organization known for its contributions to career guidance, employability enhancement, and skill development in Nagaland.
The training focused on equipping students with essential job-readiness skills. Mr. Sethi delivered an engaging session on how to write an effective and professional resume, outlining key components such as contact details, qualifications, work experience, skills, and career objectives. He emphasized the importance of customizing resumes to suit specific job roles and sectors, especially in the field of social work and development.
A major highlight of the event was the mock interview session, where students participated in simulated interviews and received valuable feedback on their performance. The interactive nature of the session provided a platform for the students to gain confidence and improve their communication and presentation skills.
The session was well-received by the participants, who appreciated the practical insights shared by the resource person. This initiative marks NEISSR’s continued commitment to enhancing the professional competencies and employability of its students.
