STUDENT COUNCIL FOR SOCIAL CHANGE (NEISSR)
Student Council for Social Change is a representative body comprised of students elected by their peers to actively participate in the decision-making processes of the school. This council serves as a bridge between the student body, the faculty, and the administration. The concept of a student council is founded on the principles of student empowerment, leadership development, and fostering a sense of community within the educational institution.
Duties of the Student Council
In general, as a matter of policy the students’ council or any of its members shall refrain from any political, social and religious affiliation; which might affect the student/academic atmosphere of the institution. The student council always shall meet in the presence of the faculty in charge. The proceedings should be documented and intimated to the principal after each meeting in writing endorsed by the welfare officer or the faculty in charge of the students’ council.
