North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) is the first Social Work College under Nagaland University to offer both MSW and BSW courses. At present, NEISSR offers specializations in Peace and Conflict Transformation Studies, Youth Development, Community Development and Social Entrepreneurship in MSW.  BA in Political science is introduced to reach out to larger group of young people within the state, region and beyond.
