AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS:
1. Conferred the NAPSWI (National Association of Professional Social Workers in India) Lifetime Achievement Award, 2022 for making significant contribution in social work profession and enriched knowledge base of Social Work Profession. 2. Rotary National Peace Award 2017 Foundation International National Peace Award on 19th February2017 at Pune in recognition for the long & dedicated Service as Founder Director of PEACE CHANNEL, Nagaland. 3. District Level Best Youth Club Award, on 14th February 2014 (Certificate of Merit) from NEHRU YUVA KENDRA, Dimapur. 4. RTF International Confederation of NGOO’s (ICONGO) and United Nations volunteers had conferred an award of KARMAVEER CHAKRA, in 2011 for Outstanding CHILD-LED INITIATIVE. 5. Muslim community Nagaland conferred an award for promoting Inter-religious Harmony in Nagaland on 21st January 2016. 6. Received a Certificate of Appreciation from the University of Rhode Island, USA, in June 2016 for introducing Peace and Conflict Transformation Studies as one of the specializations under MSW curriculum. 7. Received a Certificate of Appreciation from Ministry Health and Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland, on World No Tobacco Day on 31st May 2016. 8. Received a certificate of Appreciation from National Tobacco Control Programme for adopting Tobacco free institute guidelines on 21st May 2016. 9. There has been visible transformation in the attitudes of the young people who have been part of the Peace Channel Movement. It has the potential to spread across the country as well as internationally addressing local as well as global conflict resolution and peace building needs by making the young people as agents and promoters for peace. 10. Received a Certificate of Appreciation from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland, on World No Tobacco Day on 31st May 2016. 11. Received a certificate of Appreciation from National Tobacco Control Programme for adopting Tobacco free institute guidelines on 21st May 2016. 12. Conferred the North East India Peace Award, 2019 by Christ School International, Shillong and Kongkong Lige Loyi Foundation in recognition to his involvement and participation in the lives of the people in peace building. 13. Conferred the Best Social Worker Award (Senior Category) on World Social Work Day on 18th March 2025 by Bishop Heber College, Tiruchirapalli and Madras Christian College, Tamil Nadu.
