North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR), a Social Work Institute is strongly committed to the goal of supporting less privileged students in Higher Education. The Institute believes that no student is to be denied the opportunity due to financial inadequacy.Keeping this in mind, the college makes available scholarships from both government and non-government bodies including individual donors and philanthropists. Scholarships are given to students based on need and merit. The Freeship policy is elaborated below:

• The institution provides Scholarships for meritorious and deserving students which will be awarded under the given criteria. 
1. Scholarship for the woman who is a widow and wants to study at NEISSR
 2. Scholarship for the differently abled and physically challenged 
3. Scholarship for students who are financially poor or have lost their parents

Institution Scholarship Amount: up to Rs. 10000/-
