Three-day workshop conducted by NEISSR with 36 students at St. Xavier’s College, Jalukie
A three-day workshop on “enhancing employability skills among the student youth” was conducted by North East Institute of Social Science and Research (NEISSR) with 36 students at St Xavier College Jalukie from February 8 to 10.
A press release by NEISSR stated that during the training, participants were enlightened with eight different employability skills, designed with practical exercises and activities of eight skills, group discussion, group learning’s, presentation, ice breaking etc. After every session the students were given opportunity to evaluate and share their learning.
The workshop program was facilitated by Meriakthule N Chewang, research project staff, NEISSR, while Dr. Fr. Francis, principal of St. Xavier College welcomed the facilitators and encouraged the students to cooperate and learn maximum from the facilitator.
The three-day workshop program included the pledge to apply the learnings in everyday life so as to enhance their knowledge, develop skills and become competent and employable.
